Cobra safeguards 2 Puppies for 48 hours

#compassion #empathy #snakes #puppies

Children are like angels, this is a dedication to all the humans who ill-treat their children on the basis of their gender/in-capabilities.

This happened in Punjab, India, were two pups fell by accident into a well, while playing with other siblings. The owner of the pups found 2 puppies missing in the group and later found the mother dog barking near a shallow well. To his surprise, he found the puppies in the well along with a King Cobra. They found that the Cobra which was supposed to be a threat for all animals including Man, was actually safeguarding the little pups from not getting drowned when the pups moved towards the danger area of the well.

People who gathered around didn’t have the courage to get into the well and save the pups because the snake was around. The puppies and the Snake remained in the well for 48 hrs, until the forest authority came and rescued the pups and the snake was released into the forest.

MY VIEW Humans are killers of innocents by the billions yearly. Until they Evolve humans will always be barbarians of the natural world. Instead of evolving past mass murder of innocents, war crimes to humanity and rape of the planet, humanity is going through De-Evolution. Pesticides in crops, antibiotics and hormones in food. Stupid! Causing more disease, more immune deficiencies, more antibiotic resistant illness and so on. Other non human animals evolve and blend in with their environment, complementing it. Humans take over, rape the environment, strip resources, steal non human habitat and the destroy whatever it touches. This cobra isn’t a malicious creature. It feeds to survive, adjusts to his/her environment and doesn’t need to destroy! The puppies weren’t a threat, no need to kill. Humans should learn from the example of animals. Humans have nothing worthwhile to teach non human animals as we are stupid compared to them. This Cobra can teach us more in 100 lifetimes!

This is Betty. Last night she was caught in the Barbed Wire fence on my property :-(. After cutting the fence she was given a slight anesthetic to relieve her pain and put her in a doze. Then Jo and I removed the wire from her wing webbing and fourth finger.

Unfortunately her finger died but with some slight bruising now her wing should heal well.

Betty is doing very well and having a sleep with other recovering bats in care. She will be spoilt rotten till she is well enough to be released back into the wild.

Don’t believe people when they say bats are full of disease. It’s bullshit! Birds carry more disease than bats. Protect these beautiful creatures.

Betty is a sweet, cuddly little girl with not a mean bone in her body. Give bats a chance!
